After this past weekend’s 2013 Abu Dhabi World Pro Trials, it seems like the Baseball Bat Choke is likely going to be the new berimbolo!

Check out Magid Hage using it against Clark Gracie (arguably one of my favorite grapplers ever!)…

Then, also from the 2013 Abu Dhabi World Pro Trials in San Diego, California, Magid Hage catches Zak Maxwell in the same sneaky baseball bat choke. Rumor is that he used it against a 3rd opponent that day as well!

It even works in nogi!

I absolutely llllooovvveee the Baseball Choke , it is sneaky and super effective, i learned it by watching Dion Watts from Simi Valley Jiu Jitsu put a guy to sleep in competition in less than a minute!
